Meg Tapia
Meg Tapia is a results-oriented executive who brings a rare blend of a national security, government relations, commercial, and business expertise to solve the most dynamic national security and business challenges.
Meg draws on over 20 years of Commonwealth, State Government, and private sector experience, including 16 years as a diplomat with postings to Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu. She was awarded the Australian Operational Service Medal and NATO Medal for her civilian service in Afghanistan. She currently serves on the Board of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers and speaks widely at conferences on the national security threats facing corporate Australia.
Meg is a skilled influencer, respected for her client-centricity, open communication, and providing sound, evidence-based advice on programs and pursuits with heightened risk and complexity.

Ambassador Shingo Yamagami
His Excellency Shingo Yamagami is the former Japanese Ambassador to Australia.
Prior to his being posted to Australia, Shingo served as Director-General, Economic Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2018-2020). Shingo has previously served overseas in diplomatic postings to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the USA.
Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shingo previously served as Director-General, Intelligence and Analysis Service (2017 – 2018), and Ambassador for Policy Planning and International Security Policy (Deputy Director-General, Foreign Policy Bureau) (2014 – 2015).
Outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shingo was Director-General (Acting) at the Japan Institute of International Affairs (2015 – 2017). He was also seconded to the National Police Agency as Director of the Police Administration, Ibaraki Prefectural Police (2007-2009). Shingo has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tokyo (1984) and studied at the Graduate School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University (1985-87).

Ambassador Kersti Eesmaa
Ambassador Kersti Eesmaa is the former Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Australia.
She currently serves as the Brand Ambassador for Women in Cyber Security under the WorkPath Australia (WPA) program. During her tenure as ambassador, her work focused extensively on digital innovation and cyber security. Since completing her diplomatic posting, she has continued to share her expertise and experience in these fields with various organisations across Australia.
Kersti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master’s degree with honours in Business Consultations. With nearly 30 years of experience as a career diplomat, she began her journey as a trade diplomat, representing Estonia's interests in Geneva and Brussels. She later advanced to serve as the Director General of Human Resources and led the Estonian consular service for five years, also acting as the Ministry's spokesperson on consular matters. In 2019, she was nominated as Ambassador of Estonia to Australia, concurrently serving as ambassador to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji, with additional responsibilities as ambassador-designate to Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
A passionate advocate for digital transformation, cyber security, and innovation, Kersti's key skills include government relations, stakeholder management and crisis communication. Fluent in English and Estonian, she also has knowledge of French, Russian, Finnish, and Swedish.

Professor Peter Leahy AC
Professor Peter Leahy AC retired from the Australian Army, after a 37-year career, in July 2008 as a Lieutenant General in the position of Chief of Army, a position he held for 6 years.
Prior to this appointment he was the Deputy Chief of Army. Among his qualifications he holds a BA (Military Studies) and a Master of Military Arts and Science. He is a graduate of both the Australian and the United States Army Staff Colleges, a Fellow of the Australian College of Defence and Strategic Studies and a graduate of the British Higher Command and Staff Course.
He is currently a Professor and the foundation Director of the National Security Institute at the University of Canberra. His main passion at the University of Canberra is teaching undergraduates on matters relating to national security and the challenge of modern terrorism. He also writes and provides media commentary on defence and security issues.
In work related to charities he is the Chairman of Soldier On and the Red Shield Advisory Committee in the ACT. He was Chairman of the Australian International Military Games, which brought the Invictus Games to Sydney in 2018. In work related to government and defence he was a member of the First Principles Review of the Department of Defence, completed a major review into the International Deployment Group of the Australian Federal Police and has advised both the South Australian and Queensland Governments on matters related to strategy, defence and industry issues.
Through his military and public service career, Peter has also received a significant number of awards including the Companion of the Order of Australia and the Meritorious Service Medal (United States of America).
